Zach Hertzel
Physician Assistant & QMP
Zach is originally from Lawrence Kansas and joined the US Army as a combat/flight medic at the age of 18. After deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, with 10 years of service, he transitioned into civilian practice. Upon completion of his undergraduate studies in exercise science with a focus on personal training, he then furthered his education as a PA at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Zach has experience in emergency medicine, surgical oncology, and internal medicine. If he’s not practicing medicine, Zach can probably be found outside, be it on the side of a mountain (climbing or skiing), freediving in the ocean, or coaching his son’s football team. A fun fact about Zach (and one that he is decidedly proud of) is that he can hold his breath for 3 minutes.
